Top Quality September 6, 2010 Ravichandra Debie (Trinidad) Excellent quality. After ordering I received this item in a very short time. It is of professional quality. The fast adjusting clips made a huge difference. I would recommend this gear to both novice and professional.

Excellent package! July 23, 2010 Mark Newkirk 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased two sets for our 20th anniversary to Maui in June. We consider ourselves to be above average snorkel-ers and were VERY satisfied with everything in the bundle. The Trek travel fins worked great even when the water got choppy and are very easy to pack. Loved the quick release straps! The sideview and purge features on the mask are fantastic and the seal works great and is very comfortable even with my mustache. The snorkel was the hightlight. I don't have any other experience with the "dry" snorkels for comparison but I spent alot of time diving well below the surface and cannot make 1 single complaint. The top valve and purge valve are flawless. The carry bag has a cool shoulder strap, is nice quality, and has ample space for all of this AND some other items too.
Pretty Good, Could be better. May 5, 2010 I Bought It 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used this set for a week of snorkeling in Hawaii.
The mask worked excellent, although it fogged up a lot which is probably normal. Buy some anti-fogger with it. The mask has a valve below the nose which makes it real easy to blow out water. The neoprene strap that comes with it makes it a lot more comfortable to wear, but the velcro on it can rub against your neck if it's not set up just right. The strap also holds the snorkel which was handy.
The bag is great. It holds everything nicely and has an extra pocket on the front which I used to hold my waterproof camera and mask anti-fog gel. I'd be careful with the zippers though.
The snorkel definetly prevented me from getting a big mouth full of water, but I would still get a little water inside now and then which kind of bubbles into your mouth when you take a breath. It probably was my inexperience with snorkeling that attributed to this. I could dive underwater no problem with it.
The fins were definetly nice to have as you have to fight against currents in the ocean. I also bought Tilos Neoprene Fin Socks, which make the fins much more comfortable to wear, but made them fall off a lot easier. These fins are much easier to use with out the socks. I plan on looking for a different pair of fins that won't fall off so easy while using the socks.
Good set overall May 3, 2010 C. McCarthy 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this new set for my trip to Jamaica. It came very quickly and I tried everything out. The fins run small and I could not wear them. I bought the "LG (Mens 10.5-13 & Ladies 10.5+)" and I wear a size 12-13 shoe depending on the brand. My feet are wide, but I don't buy wide sizes, I just by brands that are more generous in that department. I called the vendor, Visibility Unlimited, and they recommended I try the National Geographic Fit fins. We arranged to exchange the Trek with the Fit, I paid the price difference in the list prices of about $10. These came quickly, the day before I left, and fit my wider foot great.
The mask is nice, though I found if I didn't have it positioned just right it put too much pressure on my upper lip and bottom of my nose. If you have a larger nose you might find this mask uncomfortable. I got used to positioning it just so, and was pleased with the performance and purge feature.
I used the neoprene mask strap the first couple times out, but I found the neo mask strap to be too bulky and made it harder to get the mask in its proper position on my head. I don't plan on using it again.
The snorkel was good, though I found that purging with the snorkel in the water to be harder than I expected. If you tilt your head up and get the valve above water it purges with great ease, but while in the water I often had to blow out really hard to get it to do its job. The water in the snorkel was only from me allowing it in from the mouth piece, usually while adjust my mask.
Overall I liked the equipment and loved dealing with the vendor. In the future though I might be tempted to put my own set together.
