 Fins broke first time out, mask worthless August 4, 2010

The heel strap clip on one of the fins broke off after just a few yards of swimming. I was able to manually tie the strap as a temporary solution to save my snorkeling trip, but then there was the mask. The rubber gasket around the face mask is thin and weak, and did not make a seal no matter how excruciatingly tightly I fastened it. Had to rent a new face mask. You know, the good old black ones with the thick rubber that actually conforms to, and forms a nice seal around, any shape of face.

Sorry my bad english. I bought this product and I really sorry for this. The strap of the mask is to become deformed and the mask don't impede the water.
The snorkel become deformed too.
I knew that it wasn't silicone but I couldn't know that would be so poor.
The fins are so so.
I should to return the set but I couldn't because I have to come back to my country.
My counsel? Don't buy it. Think at something with silicone, but not US DIVERS too.

The strap on my flipper broke on the first use. This is a cheaply made kit. Water also enters the mask very easily. You are better off spending a little extra money and getting something that will last you a while.

The mask is small so your viewing area is very limited. The company wraps the goggles around the fins for packaging which bent the mask and rendered it unusable. It was returned before any use so maybe an unbent mask would be fine if you don't care much about the view. My husband tried my set which is the "US Divers Sideview Mask, Total Dry Snorkel, Split fin with Bag." He was much happier with the comfort and view. Much better bag as it has a separate place for the goggles so they don't get scratched. I would look elsewhere if considering this set.
