High Quality but Misleading Description August 24, 2010

This item looks like it is very high quality and seems to fit well. I have not used it yet as our snorkeling is not till October. The only problem I feel I want to alert others to is that this product is sized for WOMEN. The description stated, Island Dry Adult Silicone Mask, it does not say specifically for women. When it arrived I thought it was the wrong one, but the product number matches so I know it is what I ordered. I think it will work for my husband anyway, but I would not have ordered this if I knew it was specifically for women. I feel it should be listed in their main title of this item.

Worked fine for about 5 minutes in the water but the dry technology is not completely dry... I bought the US divers admiral along with this and it worked great.. no leaks whatsoever....

The original mask we received had a manufacturing problem. The clip that locks the strap on one side was built in backwards so we could not tension one side of the mask. Unfortunately, we did not discover this until we were in the Virgin Islands. Upon return home Amazon gladly exchanged it for a new one. Already to try it again, just need a little more vacation time.
Besides the manufacturing glitch we were quite satisfied with this snorkel/mask set.

This is a great combination for the snorkel fan. It's not just a very good snorkel and mask, it fit well and looks great. Fashion meets function! I get comments on the really nice look of the snorkel.

The mask fit well but does not drain at all. As i swam I could see the water rising in my mask. I will not be able to use this and have already dis carded it for my husbands which performs very well.
