TO HARD TO USE FOR A CHILD< as an adult it was too hard, it floats, wont go underwater like a mermaid tail, and comes off every time you try to use it!

My granddaughter wanted to swim like a mermaid, so I bought this item and now she not only swims in it, but she sleeps with it. She'll lay on her bed with her fin out! So cute!

This made my daughter happy but when she got in the water it was very difficult for her to swim with it. She can swim like a mermaid just fine without it but it makes it more difficult with it. It is very comfortable but the strap slides off a lot in the water. Its weird because its very lite but in the water it is very heavy. Poor packaging also, but came in the blink of an eye. I highly recommend this product if you have strong legs and of course know how to swim like a mermaid.

I like the fin - so far. My only issue is the fin part (purple) is a little harder than I expected. I am going to make my child a fabric tail, and am not sure how I am going to bend the fin to fit in the btm yet. (Velcro, I think.) The part she puts her feet in is softer plastic. Go for it, it gets us to the pool in the middle of winter. Love it!
